Potipot sunset

We woke up early in the morning to eat breakfast and set out on another adventure to Danjugan Island. The weather was beautiful that day, the sun was up and the waters were very still, you couldn’t see the line between the sea and the sky.

Danjugan Island is a 20 minute boatride from Sipalay, its a wildlife and marine sanctuary surrounded by diverse coral reefs perfect for scuba divers. I really thought that was the day I was gonna go scuba diving, its been my dream to, but unfortunately, that dream is gonna have to wait again, probably on the next adventure we’ll go scuba. So instead of scuba diving, we went around the island.

Table for two?
took a photo of these frogs as they were having a feast on this garden floodlight. All sorts of flies and gamo-gamo’s were flying around attracted to the light, and the frogs were going crazy flinging around their tongues trying to catch a meal.It was a funny sight to see I couldn’t take my eyes of them. But as soon as I took this photo they stopped. (lol such clever creatures)

I feel very blessed to travel once again with my family this Holy Week. We have been traveling around the Philippines every Summer for, I don’t really remember.. anyway, This Summer’s adventure destination is…SIPALAY!

Sipalay is famous for their beaches and diving spots. From the airport to Sipalay it takes about 3 hours to arrive at the city proper. It is a long drive but I don’t really mind, I love road trips.

We stayed at a spa resort called, Punta Bulata. I really love the place because it was quiet and secluded and wherever you go it smelled good (because it was a SPA resort) but the thing I loved the most was their beach front. The resort showcases a beautiful view of the sea backed up with the infinity pool. I asked for a nature getaway and an experience I would not forget this summer and God has given it to me. (and to think first day pa lang ng vacation ko!)

..twas the most beautiful sunset I have ever seen.

The next day we woke up early to set out on another adventure…DANJUGAN ISLAND!

Its that most wonderful time of the year again..oh yes, SUMMER TIME! Although the heat is terrible, one thing I love about Summer, well besides the free time, is the out-of-town trips me and my family have. Oh yes, this time we went to Bacolod and traveled to Sipalay. It has actually been 2 weeks (If I am not mistaken) since we got back and I have not been posting about it. So, hopefully I could update before my OJT starts. (seriously Im have trouble updating blogs, I am terrible at this)

Oh, and I’ll be going to Zambales, well according to my mom, 2 weeks from now.

(God, help me update these blogs)

Baguio B&W

I went to Baguio a few weeks ago with my parents. A 2-day stay at John Hay was a great opportunity to just get away from Manila and all the school works..Although I did miss a class but its all good.

It has been a routine for our family to go to Baguio every year but this year was different because the weather was perfect. (It always rains when we go to Baguio) This year we were blessed with good weather and we were able to see the preparation for the Panagbenga festival.

It was mostly me and my dad going around Baguio since my mom was busy working. We drove around the city, bought pasalubongs, took pictures at Burnham Park, went shopping at the street fairs, bought vegetables at the palengke and we were on the verge to buy a new dog! lol

It was a short trip but it was fun. As long is it takes me out of Manila and I’m with my family it is defintely a trip worth taking.

Here’s to Baguio 2013? wooop!

Brochures from Singapore
I’m a big brochure hoarder. I just feel the need to get free brochures, especially if it looks pretty. I don’t know where this started but I keep telling myself that I need all these brochures for future references and inspiration for school.
